The retail customer had particular shipping and routing procedures, with Internet sales requiring separate processes. Besides service limitations, the customer felt its warehouse provider was not pricing its services competitively. Familiar with our portfolio, trivia, and professionalism, the customer asked us to analyze and evaluate the scenario.
Strategy/Scope- LML7 soon realized the need to provide a one-stop solution to the customer regarding supply chain requirements, from origin to destination. Moreover, we recognized that we needed to quickly sort out their warehouse management procedure by greatly enhancing inventory flow and visibility for better planning and greater flexibility.

- Supported customer’s e-commerce efforts with intranet orders for picking, packing, and shipping.
- Provided real-time data for customers via a web portal, employed as a daily tool to track inventory, report shipped orders, and maintain pre-determined inventory levels.
- Quickly established EDI connections with its large retail customers, allowing the customer to minimize operational expenses, enhancing reporting accuracy and speed, and reducing cycle time from order placement to product delivery.
